VENTURA
The time had finally come, a year plus of no big fairground style shows was coming to an end as the Ventura Nationals was fast approaching. Everyone we talked to was planning on going but still wondering how the attendance would be, by Saturday at 7am the question was answered… the place was packed. An entry line twisted its way out of the fairgrounds and onto the surface streets was the first signs of how big the show was going to be. We once again set up the “HOP UP HALL” and unfortunately didn’t get much time to wonder out during the day but seeing the stream of people come through made it feel like old times, plus the hall was filled with some of the best hot rods of the show so we didn’t feel to bad. Can’t wait to do it all again next year. Below is a quick run through the building during early morning setup before the flood gates opened to the public.
